As a tax lawyer at Tiberghien, Mona focuses on personal income tax and international taxation issues in the sports and entertainment sectors. She advises both Belgian resident and non-resident athletes in tax-related matters, supporting them in every step of their careers.

Mona has particular experience with the different specific tax regimes for athletes and artists, the tax structuring of cross-border transfers, and double taxation issues faced by internationally-active athletes. Next to her advisory and compliance work, Mona often assists clients in various types of disputes with the tax authorities.

Mona takes a practical and personal approach, always taking the client's professional career opportunities as the point of departure and then structuring the legal advice around the client’s specific interests .
