Mathieu started his career as a tax consultant in international mobility of individuals within one of the 4 Big Four consulting firms on the Belgian market. He then joined the Brussels Bar in 2014 and has since then worked as a tax lawyer in leading law firms in Brussels where he has built up a strong experience in corporate and international taxation. He developed a practice combining the activity of advising and representing Belgian and foreign taxpayers in the context of tax audits and disputes with the Belgian tax authorities.

Mathieu's focus lies on income taxes for individuals, companies and non-profits organizations, as well as international mobility of individuals, with a specific expertise in tax risk management and tax litigation.
