We are currently looking for an associate to join our dynamic Sports Law Team.
ATFIELD is a network created by the law firms ALTIUS (business law, including sports law) and Tiberghien (tax law, including taxation & sport) composed of a dozen lawyers specialized in sport. ATFIELD advises (inter)national sports governing bodies, clubs, athletes and service providers in the sports environment.
To strengthen our team – and more specifically the team integrated within ALTIUS (an independent Belgian full-service law firm based in Brussels and composed of 65 lawyers and 25 staff members) – we are currently looking for an associate to join our dynamic Sports Law Team.
Key requirements
You are a qualified lawyer with 2 to 3 years of experience or you have a first relevant work experience and ready to start your internship at the bar.
You are fluent in French and English. A good level in Dutch is considered a plus.
You have a keen legal interest in fundamental rights applicable to sport: European law in the broad sense and human rights.
You have a keen interest in doing research and making legal analysis.
You possess excellent writing skills and you prefer a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented.
You are not afraid to speak your mind, have shown your entrepreneurial spirit in the past and don’t always choose the more conventional path.
